AIESEC is an international a nongovernmental not for profit organizations that provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus to empower young people so they can make a positive impact on society.
Global Community development program is an internship hosted by an AIESEC entity under a project or an organization e.g. NGO, organizations or schools in another country or territory. A GCDP internship ranges from 6 weeks to 8 weeks.
Host families is a program established by AIESEC GUC where you and your family can explore new cultures, widen your perspective to the world, have a multicultural experience and expand your relations internationally. AIESEC is non-for-profit organization, so money is not involved in this program. We do this because we seek to learn from the different ways of life and opinions represented in our multicultural environment. We do this because living diversity is one of our values in AIESEC.
Nowhere, We will bring the world home to you. Being a host family is a great opportunity for you and your family to explore new cultures, widen your perspective to the world, have a multicultural experience and expand your relations internationally. It also satisfy one of our six values in AIESEC which is living diversity.
